The Rectorate of the State University of Haiti (RUEH) is launching a call for expressions of interest for the "Me. Monferrier Dorval Award of Excellence" https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-36916-icihaiti-awards-the-state-university-of-haiti-has-created-8-excellence-awards.html , for the 2021-2022 year. This call is valid until the last Friday of August 2022.

"This Prize will reward each year the best bachelor's, master's and doctoral work of the previous year in the triple field of legal, administrative and social work studies," one reads in the note obtained by our editorial staff.

The "Me. Monferrier Dorval Excellence Award" is part of "the idea of ​​paying tribute and prolonging the memory of the former president of the Bar Association of Port-au-Prince" assassinated on August 28, 2020 https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-31661-icihaiti-pelerin-5-assassination-of-the-president-of-the-bar-of-port-au-prince.html

CRITERIA:

• Status of student, professor of the UEH, confirmed by letter from the Deanship, or the Board of Directors or Management;

• Belonging to a research laboratory, if applicable;

• Submission in paper and electronic version of the dissertation or thesis approved by the supervisor;

• Submission of a copy of the defense report;

• Respect for the submission deadline.

NOTE: The number of files submitted per eligible entity must not exceed one (1) per theme and per cycle, underlines the Rectorate of the UEH.

SELECTION :

The Classification of the files received will be made by the Scientific Council of the UEH, using a jury created for this purpose

PRIZE :

A total envelope of 750,000 Gourdes is devoted to this Prize:

200,000 gourdes for the best bachelor's thesis

250,000 gourdes for the best master's thesis

300,000 Gourdes, for the best doctoral thesis.

DEADLINE :

The deadline for submitting files is Friday, August 26, 2022. Files must be submitted to: General Secretariat of the UEH, #21 rue Rivière, Port-au-Prince, or by email: secretariat.general@ueh. edu.ht.
