The State transfers money to the poorest

As part of the social appeasement program implemented by the Government, the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) transferred money to households across the country. 18,000 of the poorest people received an allowance of 3,105 Gourdes via the Mon Cash electronic platform.

EDH : Electric Promise

The Electricity of Haiti (EDH) informs that the technicians are redoubling their efforts to revive the Cap Haitien Power Plant and regularly supply its subscribers with electricity. Tests have already been carried out at the Power Plant and grid repair and maintenance work is underway... Soon the population of the North will benefit from a greater supply of electrical energy.

Cycling : Haiti at the Tour de Guadeloupe 2022

Saturday morning, the Consul General went to the town hall square of Pointe-à-Pitre, for the start of the 2nd stage of the Tour de Guadeloupe, to congratulate and encourage Odvelt Clergé, a talented Haitian cyclist. Odvelt finished this second stage 57th out of 130 runners who arrived 4 minutes from Florian Rapiteau who won the 156 km event in 3h36'23'' (average 43.26 km/h). Odvelt Clergé is 32nd out of 43 in the ranking of the best young runner, 1'16 behind Matisse Lulien at the top of the ranking (164.9 km in 3h46'48''). Finally, Odvelt Clergé is 82nd overall.

Petit-Goâve : Asphalt concrete replaces cobblestones

Repair and rehabilitation works on several streets in downtown Petit-Goâve are underway. Some parts made of adoquin paving stones are replaced by bituminous concrete in order to reduce the cost of purchasing and laying the paving stones. Summer Camp : Book Day

On Friday, August 6, Book Day was held at the "Jwe pou lav" summer camp at the Jean-Marie Vincent high school in Carradeux (commune of Tabarre) around the theme "I read therefore I live".
