High tension in Les Cayes

Saturday morning, a situation of tension reigned in the city of Les Cayes after an increase in the gallon of gasoline on the black market from 1,000 to 1,250 Gourdes per gallon. Very angry members of the population blocked the entrance to the city at Quatre-Chemins as well as the bridge over La Ravine du Sud leading to the South coast. UDMO agents fired tear gas canisters to disperse the protesters and restore public order.

PNH : Towards a back-to-school subsidy ?

MSF : 3 days of training on Gender-Based Violence

Three days of training were carried out by Médecins Sans Frontière (MSF-Holland), together with the Office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH-Artibonite), on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and sexual and reproductive health for 25 heads of Disabled People's Organizations (DPOs) in the department. This activity aims to raise awareness and further strengthen the capacities of organizations on gender-based violence.
