Following the decision adopted by the Council of Government on August 26 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-37497-haiti-flash-date-of-the-start-of-the-2022-2023-school-year-postponed-official.html to postpone the start of the school year, initially scheduled for Monday September 5, 2022 to Monday October 3rd, 2022, the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training has published the new revised school calendar for the 2022-2023 academic year.

This new calendar includes 184 school days and 13 days off. The number of teaching hours amounts to 920 hours (Fundamental) and 1,104 hours (Secondary).

The start of the school year is scheduled for October 3, 2022 and the academic year will end on July 20, 2023.
