Chaos in Petit-Goâve

In Petit-Gôave, the Office of the Vehicle Insurance Against Third Party (OAVCT) was completely vandalized, material damage is significant. The Office of Economy and Finance was targeted by protesters and stoned. Demonstrators entered the courtyard of the institution and ransacked the premises of the security guards. The demonstrators set fire to the Courts of First Instance and Peace of the commune. Other public institutions (EDH, DGI), bank branches (UNIBANK, BNC), transfer offices and service stations were ransacked or set on fire.

Argentina : new scholarship offers 2023

Accompanied by the Ministers Counsellors, Jean Claude Cenatus and Mrs. Olga Medor Ducasse, Vilbert Bélizaire had a working meeting at the General Directorate of Naval Forces Education with Rear Admiral Marcelo Christian Tarapow, Brigadier General Gustavo Alejandro Garcés Luzuriaga and Brigadier Marcelo Guerrero, respectively Director General of Naval, Land and Air Force Education of the Argentine Army. The meeting was very fruitful, it resulted in the promise of new scholarship offers for the year 2023.

Subsidy program for income-generating activities

A grant program for income-generating activities with the support of UNFPA has been developed by the "Kay Fanm" organization for certain women survivors. 18 participants recently received a three-day accounting training by SME administration specialist Carine Clermont. During this training, it was discussed, among other things, the establishment of a business, the management of purchases and stocks, the calculation of the selling price and profits as well as the management of a cash register.
