Obituaries : Death of Mgr. Frantz Colimon

Friday, November 4th, 2022 in the morning, the former Bishop emeritus of the diocese of Port-de-Paix Monsignor Frantz Colimon, died at the age of 88, at Saint-François de Sales hospital (Port-au-Prince) where he had been taken following an illness. Retired since 2008, Msgr. Frantz Colimon was appointed principal bishop on February 22, 1982, replacing Mgr. Remy Augustin.

A notary and a lawyer kidnapped

The Notary Marie Alice Belizaire was kidnapped in Musseau (Delmas 60) Thursday, November 3rd, by armed individuals. In addition, the same day in Bourdon, the lawyer James Brown was also kidnapped.
