Agriculture : Haiti in new IFAD financing Germany has allocated US$30 million to the United Nations' International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) to help poor rural communities cope with the impact of the global food, fertilizer and energy. This funding will enable IFAD to assist 9 of the most affected countries, including Yemen, Mozambique, Haiti, Ethiopia, Burundi, Madagascar, Central African Republic, Malawi, Chad and Niger. 2 day workshop on the Family Emergency Plan The Alliance for Risk Management and Business Continuity (AGERCA) led a two-day workshop on the Family Emergency Plan with about fifty participating women's organizations in the commune of Les Cayes.
