On Sunday, to enhance the brilliance of the 219th anniversary of the proclamation of our Independence at the Place d'Armes in Gonaïves, on January 1st, 1804, Prime Minister a.i. Henry deposited, in the morning, a floral offering at the Haitian National Pantheon Museum (MUPANAH]).

Excerpt from Prime Minister Ariel Henry’s speech :

May God bless our dear Haiti and give it reasons to be proud again.

Because I have faith in our ability to silence our differences, because I have faith in our ability to put aside our egos and our individual interests, because I have faith in our ability to rebuild this union that has is the strength of our ancestors [...]

During the year, something that seemed almost impossible a few weeks ago has just come to fruition. We were finally able to close the year 2022 with the signing of a national compromise for an inclusive transition and transparent elections."
