Security : France-Haiti Cooperation

Women's Economic Empowerment

The Economic Recovery and Women's Empowerment Project of Haiti is about to launch a series of training courses in the application of digital skills (IT) for women's technical positions at the Ministry's Vocational Training Center in the feminine condition. It will help Haitian women develop their computer skills.

Obituaries: The poet Joubert Satyre is dead:

The Ministry of Culture pays tribute to the poet, literary critic and university professor Joubert Satyre, who died on Sunday January 15 in Canada. Those who knew Professor Satyre will remember him as a sober, dedicated man with a passion for literature and linguistics. His collection of poems "Espaces", published in 1994 by "Éditions Mémoire" in Port au Prince, has remained an important book among those published in recent decades in Haiti. The Ministry asks the family, relatives and friends of Joubert Satyre to receive its condolences.

PapJazz 2023, last day

Cap-Haitien is hosting the 16th edition of Pap Jazz from January 20 to 22, 2023. An international festival organized by and for lovers of Jazz music.
