The Ministry of National Education ended this week the 2-day workshop held in Pétion-ville, on the validation of documents for the development of the Single Book in Creole for 3rd and 4th years Fundamentals...

During the second and last day of this workshop, the participants reflected on the didactic, pedagogical and material methods of the unique book.

As Minister Nesmy Manigat encouraged during the first day of the workshop, in addition to the disciplines that normally make up the single book, participants worked to incorporate a range of cross-cutting topics such as education for good citizenship, sustainable development and education in social and financial management.

In this regard, the Drafting Committee would like the Ministry to share with them all the work it has already done on these subjects, in particular on risk and disaster management and on the social and financial education that has been done in cooperation with the Central Bank.

At the end of this Meniol Jeune workshop, the Director General of the Ministry thanked all the participants for their contributions to the consolidation of the documents which should frame the development of the Single Book in Creole for the 3rd and 4th fundamental years.

Note that this workshop was held in the presence of hundreds of participants and several other personalities such as the director of the Manigat cabinet, Jacques Abraham; the Director General of the National Fund for Education (FNE), Jean Ronald Joseph; the Director General of the National Office of Partnership in Education Hervé Boursiquot; Professor Auguste D'Meza, member of the Manigat cabinet and the Coordinator Denès Metellus (present on the first day of this activity).
