The Platform of Associations Franco-Haitian (PAFHA) is pleased to announce you the launch in France and in Haiti of its training program in development, monitoring and evaluation of project, and also in research of funding. Part of its project to support the Franco-Haitian associations with projects and of capacity building of their partners in Haiti in the conduct of project, this training program is for Franco-Haitian organizations and their partners in Haiti. It is supported and partly funded by the Fondation de France.

In Haiti :

6 days of training on four weekends from October 8 to November 19. Participants: 50 people representing 26 organizations in Haiti. To facilitate the movement of participants, the training will take place: in Gressier, in the department of the West and Fond-des-Nègres in the department of Nippes. The training is free and transportation costs, catering and accommodation for participants are supported by the PAFHA.

Training program in four modules :

• Training in project development,

• Training on techniques of project management and financial management,

• A meeting on the legal and institutional framework French associations law 1901, and of Haitian associations

• A meeting to share experience.

In France :

4 meetings by group on Saturdays from October 15 to early December. Participants: about 25 associations Franco-Haitian divided into two groups. This training is free.

Training program in four modules :

• Training in project development

• Training in research of funding

• Training in project monitoring and evaluation

• A workshop on the implementation of the provisions adopted in the statutes as well as on the need of partnership and of an articulation of the local and national policy actions.

At the end of the training, participants will be able to:

• Design a project of solidarity in France and Haiti

• Plan a project of solidarity to execute it efficiently and effectively,

• Develop and implement a strategy for research of funding coupled with an appropriate communications strategy that will ensure success and sustainability of the project,

• Run, monitor and evaluate the solidarity actions planned and funded.
