Bahamian Embassy evacuated

Following increased security concerns, the Bahamian Embassy in Haiti evacuated its remaining diplomatic staff to New Providence.

Extension of the curfew

The Government extends the curfew throughout the territory of the West Department, from Saturday March 23 to Tuesday March 26, 2024, between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. This measure does not apply to law enforcement officers on duty, firefighters, ambulance drivers, health personnel and duly identified journalists.

85,000 liters of drinking water distributed

People displaced to sites often face shocking living conditions, living in cramped spaces with limited access to clean water. IOM continues to support displaced populations in Haiti. On Friday, 85,000 liters of drinking water were delivered.
