Following the commitment made by Prime Minister Conille in July 2024, the Government, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Haitians Living Abroad, the Ministry of the Interior and the Directorate of Immigration and Emigration (DIE), has mobilized to enable all Haitians both in Haiti and abroad to obtain their document.

Garry Conille, as Minister of the Interior and Territorial Communities, reports that "from July 2024 to today, 9,147 passports have been issued to Haitians in the diaspora and 11,770 in Haiti."

In addition, measures have been taken to issue 13,201 passports that were already ready in different countries. After the DIE took measures, 10,154 passports that were blocked have been issued.

Passport Delivery to the Diaspora : (July - September 2024)

Dominican Republic : 5,175 passports delivered, 96% increase compared to April to June (2,642)

Chile : 1,313 passports delivered, 274% increase compared to April to June (351)

Brazil : 1,081 passports delivered, 3600% increase compared to April to June (3)

France : 912 passports delivered, 36% increase compared to April to June (761)

Guyana : 655 passports delivered, 140% increase compared to April to June (273)

The average from April to May is 1,776 passports; for June 1,098, for July 3,472 and for August 5,489.

The Government has made arrangements to release 13,201 passports that were already printed at the Washington production center for citizens of :
