Back to school : Wishes from the CPT

"On the occasion of the start of the school year, the Presidential Transitional Council (CPT) presents its warmest wishes to all students in Haiti, as well as to teachers, parents and members of the educational staff. Chancellor Dupuy summoned by the CPT

Chancellor Dominique Dupuy is summoned to a meeting at the Villa d’Accueil this Wednesday, October 2 at 11:00 a.m. to explain the misunderstandings regarding the agenda of the Haitian delegation at the 79th UN General Assembly. She is required to bring copies of correspondence relating to requests for bilateral meetings for the CPT, among others.

2024-2025 budget up 25.7%

On Monday, October 1, 2024, the Council of Ministers adopted the budget for the 2024-2025 fiscal year, amounting to 323.44 billion Gourdes (a little over 2.3 billion US dollars). This budget has increased by 25.7% compared to the previous year.

Inauguration of one of the largest professional centers in the Caribbean

Yesterday Monday, President Edgard Leblanc Fils went to Les Cayes, accompanied by Councilor-President Frinel Joseph, to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the Paulo Freire Technical Center for Vocational Training, considered one of the largest professional centers in the Caribbean and financed by Brazil. He also took the opportunity to officially launch the 2024-2025 academic year. Augustin Antoine, the Minister of National Education, took the opportunity to discuss the possibility of creating technical high schools, which would give a professional orientation to teaching.
