The Ministry of National Education, Social Affairs and the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES), associated in the Multisectoral Emergency Program financed by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Public Treasury, have begun distributing subsidies to 261,000 eligible parents of schoolchildren in public schools.

This initiative, which is part of the support measures taken by the Government for the start of the 2024-2025 school year, began on Thursday, October 10 and aims to support families in financial precariousness so that they can send their child(ren) to school in 2024.
