Fire : The Armonie small houses destroyed

On Friday, November 22, a fire broke out in the small houses located in the Armonie estate in Delmas 31. According to witnesses, the fire started in a space where gasoline was stored to be resold on the black market. 2 young children died from carbonization and 3 people were seriously burned. Firefighters brought the fire under control, but almost all of the housing estates in the Armonie estate were destroyed in the fire.

The DGI back in operation

Friday, November 22, 2024, following a meeting between the Ministry of Economy and Finance and representatives of the strikers who have been paralyzing the General Directorate of Taxes (DGI) with a work stoppage since September 23, 2024, accepted a truce until the end of 2024 after reviewing a set of commitments previously initiated by the Ministry.
