Russia rejects any idea of interference in Haiti On Monday, June 2nd, 2025, in an interview broadcast on RTVD, Alexei Seredine, the Russian Ambassador accredited to the Dominican Republic, reaffirmed his country's position on the Haitian crisis, stating that "it is the Haitians themselves who must seek and find solutions to the problems affecting them." He affirmed that Russia was closely monitoring the evolving situation in Haiti and advocated for a solution that respects the self-determination of the Haitian people, rejecting any idea of external interference that could aggravate the crisis.
