On June 5, 2025, the Haitian National Police announced that they had regained control of several buildings occupied by the "Viv Ansanm" gang in Pacot, Port-au-Prince. Miragoâne : Arrest of a Fake Doctor The Departmental Judicial Police Service (SDPJ-Nipppes) arrested Édouard Hilaire at a private clinic in "Dupack," the first communal section of Miragoâne. Édouard Hilaire, posing as a doctor, operated clandestinely in this clinic, taking advantage of the opportunity to perform abortions on several women, including minors. DGI : Revenues Up On the occasion of its 101st anniversary, the Directorate General of Taxes (DGI) held a thanksgiving mass at its central office on Christophe Avenue on Friday, June 6.
