Joseph Lambert, was elected President of the Senate by 20 votes against 9, against his only rival, the former priest Joseph François Anick (Alternative) presented and supported by Youri Latortue.

Andris Riché (Alternative),was elected Vice-President, Fritz Carlos Lebon (INITE), questeur ; Steven Benoît (Alternative) and John Joël Joseph (INITE) respectively first and second secretary. Steven Benoît and John Joël Joseph are the only newcomer to the bureau of the Senate dominated by INITE.
