Kokorat San Ras Gang Retaliation : Heavy Toll

The terrorist group "Kokorat San Ras" carried out a heavy reprisal in the Gros Morne commune following clashes with Sri Lankan members of the Gang Supression Force (GSF). At least three terrorists were killed and many others wounded. In retaliation, after the FRG patrol left, the terrorists killed 11 innocent civilians in the third communal section of Rivière Blanche on Monday and seven more near Grépin, close to the town center.

The GSF is not yet in offensive phase

According to Diego Da Rin, analyst for the International Crisis Group, the Gang Supression Force (GSF) has not yet begun its offensive phase against gangs, stating, "The real operations will begin when the GSF has reached a certain threshold on the ground in terms of personnel."
