Haiti - Politic : The Senate Commission for the ratification of the PM, finally formed

Despite the preconditions that wanted to impose the Senator Jean-Charles Moïse, who presides the Senate Commission of Inquiry on the nationality of members of the Government, the Senate decided to bypass and pass a resolution yesterday Tuesday in order to form the Special Commission charged to receive and analyze the documents of Prime Minister-designate, Laurent Lamothe. It took two weeks since the designation of the Prime Minister by the Chief of State, so that is finally formed this Commission composed of 7 senators and that the ratification process actively resume its course.

Article 1.

It is formed a Special Commission composed of the Honourable Senators : Jean Rodolphe Joazile, Kély C. Bastien, Franky Exius, Melius Hyppolite, Jean Baptiste Bien Aimé, Jeanty Jean William, Lucas Sainvil.

Article 2.

The mission of the Senate Special Commission consists in :

- Firstly to receive, all records of Mr. Laurent Salvador Lamothe, Prime Minister-designate

- Secondly investigate, analyze, study the records of the Prime Minister-designate

- Thirdly produce a report on the analysis of records of the Prime Minister-designate

- Fourth present before the Assembly of Senators the inquiry report of analysis of records of the Prime Minister-designate.

Article 3.

The Assembly of Senators grants a maximum a period of 15 calendar days to the Special Commission to submit its report in in plenary session.
