Haiti - Politic : The President Martelly congratulates the Deputies for the ratification of PM

Michel Martelly, the President of the Republic, sends its congratulations to the Chamber of Deputies which, like the Senate of the Republic ago, granted, on the evening of Thursday, May 3, its favorable vote [62 votes for, 3 against and 2 abstentions] to the choice of Prime Minister designate, Mr. Laurent Lamothe. While waiting that the steps of the ratification of the policy can be exhausted, the Head of State is convinced that the act of the Assembly of Deputies is part of the will of Parliament to support the Executive in its struggle to bring change and a better life for the Haitian population. Reaffirming once again his confidence in his Prime Minister, the President of the Republic believes that the country's development inevitably requires unity and understanding between all branches of government and is committed in the sense to assume its full role.
