After the success of the Government Council in Cap Haitien, the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe intends to replicate this success in the city of Les Cayes, which will host on August 8th, the 5th Council of Government, in the new administrative complex of Les Cayes.

In Les Cayes, the final preparations are underway to host "this historical event that will mark a step towards the decentralization," informed Jean Frantz Telusma, the City Mayor, who is convinced, that the Government Council, will have a significant impact on the living conditions of the population.

A population Cayenne, which welcomes this initiative of decentralization, that allows the Government to be closer of the population and of its expectations, but especially hope, that this Council will provide practical solutions to the problems of electricity, safety, road infrastructure or credits for small traders.
