Ms. Régine Godefroy, Director General of the Post Office of Haiti (OPH), who accompanied a delegation of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MCI), during the inauguration of the Northern Industrial Park (Caracol) met with members of the Chambers of Commerce of North-East and of North, of notable of zones of [Trou du Nord, Fort-Liberté et Cap Haïtien], in order to sensitize them on the economic benefits, that will result from the new park.

Ms. Godfrey took advantage of this meeting to establish an agreement with the Chamber of Commerce of North East, which has agreed to house the post office of Fort-Liberté, devoid of service space for several months.

As part of a visit to the Northern Regional Post Office, Ms. Godfrey and Wilson Laleau, Minister of Commerce, have studied the possibilities of rehabilitation of the post office, in order to incorporate to it the Regional Directorate North, of MCI.

It was also agreed Monday that the Post Office of Haiti, in collaboration with the SONAPI, will have a service space within the Caracol Park, to serve the needs of express courier of the industrials established at Park in order to be their intermediate postal, between the different state services located in Port-au-Prince.

In addition, a series of discussions between the "CTM Hope" and the OPH, has allowed to identify certain needs of employees of different manufactures of Industrial Park, and the necessity for the OPH to quickly establish the service of Postbank, to allow employees to access financial products suited to their needs.
