The Head of State take this opportunity to express his best wishes to President Obama at the time of reassuming his new functions. The President Martelly, on behalf of the Government and people of Haiti, reaffirming its commitment to maintain and strengthen the cordial relations that have always characterized the history of both countries.

The President of the Republic hopes that the bilateral cooperation between the United States of America and the Republic of Haiti will continue and be strengthened in the interest of both countries.
