Haiti - Tourism : A Chinese journalist preparing a great reportage on Haiti
Ting Shuang, a Chinese journalist, after having already visited nearly 75 countries, visited Haiti last week to explore the country and make a great reportage written on this new tourist destination. After Jacmel and Port-au-Prince, she was this weekend in the North to experience the tourism destination.
Ting Shuang indicated that the fact of coming to Haiti had given her the opportunity to discover another country, different from what one usually says. She believes that Haiti has a lot of tourist values and opportunities to develop, to invite the Chinese tourists, to better know the richness of the Haitian nation "I feel much safer here than in New York," declared the Chinese journalist who explained that during her stay, she traveled across the country as everyone, eating like everyone, taking motorcycles and tap tap like everyone without fear.
Ting Shuang, believes that if Haiti has a chance to draw a small portion of Chinese excursionists, it will be a good starting point for the development of tourism in Haiti.
