On the other hand, while the National Network for the Defense of Human Rights (RNDDH) press the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ) to open an investigation into the death of Judge Jean Serge Joseph, Me Max Elibert, a member of CSPJ has confirmed that the CSPJ had convened for Thursday, Me Jean Michel Raymond, and 3 judges who have information to share in this case.

Me Dilia Lemaire, member of CSPJ explained that there were several versions in this case and that the conflicting information available to the CSPJ, are insufficient to shed light on this issue. "The CSPJ is not investigating on the death of the judge, butseeks to ascertain whether judges attended a meeting of another power," he said.

For his part Me Max Elibert stressed that "Our investigation is purely disciplinary [...] we are not a court [...] as everyone the CSPJ is seeking the truth."
