Tuesday, Maryse Noel, Director General of the Ministry of Tourism met with executives of the new Tourist Police (POLITOUR) around a better service. Meeting with ProMexico Mission :

On the sidelines of the meeting the Minister presented the development plan of Côte de Fer.

3rd meeting of the Steering Committee/Grotte Marie Jeanne :

Wednesday, Karine Condé, South Departmental Director of Tourism, in the presence of stakeholders, including the Mayor of Port à Piment, Edwin Emile, Jean Robert Isidor, KPP and executives of the Cote Sud Initiative (CSI), participated in the third meeting of the Steering Committee of Port à Piment of the development of the Cave Marie Jeanne, of Port à Piment. During the meeting, several issues have attracted the attention of the Steering Committee so that joint decisions are taken in the next steps of the project. Note that a visit of the sites is planned Friday, November 8, 2013.

Mission of the emirates of Dubai in Haiti :

Wednesday Ms Maryse Noel, the General Director of the Ministry of Tourism welcomed at the Diplomatic Room of the Toussaint Louverture International Airport the "Global Sphere" mission of emirate of Dubai. Subsequently, the Minister of Tourism had a working session with the mission around the perspectives of investment and partnership with Emirates of Dubai. The Minister took the opportunity to make the presentation of the development plan of Ile à vache and of Côte de Fer.
