Thursday, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism, has left the country at the head of an important delegation composed among others of the economist Kesner Pharel , Andy René, Managing Director of Investment Facilitation Center (CFI), Gregory Mevs, co-Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Council for Economic development and Investment and other businessmen from the private tourism sector to participate at the HVS Caribbean Hotel Investment Conference & Operations Summit (CHICOS 2013), held in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, on 7 and 8 November 2013.

More than 1,000 investors, developers, government officials and representatives of international hotel chains and other companies in the sector are expected to attend this Summit, which is aimed primarily at people and institutions interested in the tourism sector in the Caribbean

The Presence of Haiti in CHICO 2013 is a great opportunity to present the destination and share with investors on the stand of the Ministry of Tourism, who will present on this occasion various tourism projects.

On the sidelines of CHICO 2013, the Minister Villedrouin, will intervene on the question : what are the major issues faced by investors, developers and operators in the region ?
