A meeting was held at the Office of Tourism South East, between the Departmental Director of the Southeast, Ms. Dithny Joan Raton, Jean Elie Gilles, Rector of the State University Southeast and the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation (AECID) represented by Carolina Paredes, Technical Assistant Heritage and Culture, and Marta Saiz Valverde (Intern), Clémence Hamel, and Ivan Sevilla (Consultants), the Technical Office of the Historical Center of AECID around a logo contest for the city of Jacmel and the design of tourist circuits : historical heritage and crafts.

This logo contest, organized by the City of Jacmel, the Departmental Directorate of Tourism South East, the Tourism Association of South-East open to all children, youth and adults of Jacmel and elsewhere, will be held from November 18 to December 1, 2013.

Each participant must demonstrate originality and creativity for the realization of a drawing, that will symbolize Jacmel through its architecture, crafts and carnival.

Deadline for submission of drawings: 1st December 2013
