Thursday at the Opéra de Rennes (France) took place the draw for the U-20 Women's World Cup (FIFA) France 2018 and the unveiling of the match schedule. The draw was led by Sarai Bareman, FIFA Women's Football Director, and Rihannon Martin FIFA Women's Tournament Manager.

Vannes, Concarneau and Saint-Malo and Dinan / Léhon will share the pleasure of hosting this World Cup until August 24th. Note that France will also host the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2019, of which Rennes will be the host city.

"In this regard, I would like to salute and warmly congratulate Haiti, which has just won its first FIFA Women's World Cup qualification, all categories combined, after an exemplary course. Congratulations ladies for this giant step" said Fatma Samoura, FIFA Secretary General, adding, "It's so encouraging to see young women lead the way in the practice of football."

"I hope that this FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup will make you want to come back to Brittany and will also allow to reveal great talent that can come back to compete in the Women's World Cup on our territory in 2019," said Brigitte Henriques, Vice President of the French Football Federation (FFF) present at the ceremony, before concluding "For you, now ladies, those who will make us dream tomorrow on the ground, it's time to shine !"

Group A: France, New Zealand, Ghana, Netherlands.

Group B: North Korea, Mexico, Brazil, England.

Group C: Japan, United States, Spain, Paraguay.

Group D: Germany, Nigeria, China, Haiti.
