Haiti - Politic : Prime Minister, still nothing this morning

Saturday morning, there is still no trace of a letter sent to the Presidents of both Houses, officially designating the name of the third Prime Minister-designate, despite the fact that Thursday the Head of State, during his visit to Cap Haitien, said he was about to make known within the next 24 hours the name of his new Prime Minister-designate... While the people, the parliamentarians and and many civil society actors waiting for the name, the President Martelly was yesterday at the Stade Sylvio Cator to attend the football game Haiti - U.S. Virgin Islands, match won 6-0 by the Grenadiers.

Meanwhile, Ronald Lareche, the deputy of Mont-Organisé, member of GPR and Vice-President of the Chamber of Deputies delcared "Personally and at the level of the GPR we have the willingness, if they send Dr. Garry Conille in Parliament will vote for him. [...]"

Vilson Romelus, the coordinator of the Initiative of the Responsible Citizens for a Rule of Law (ICRED) asks the installation of a government quickly for the application of Article 22 of the constitution "...we ask a government to the head of the country and quickly, so that the demands of the popular mass can succeed, so that article 22 The State recognizes the right of every citizen to decent housing, education, food and social security. of the constitution is applied..."

Michaelle Jean, Unesco special envoy for Haiti and former Governor General of Canada which in Haiti since August 31 as part of a mission of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), said that there is concern at the level of the international community and that its organization waiting with impatience there is a Prime Minister "The President has circulated widely in the country, he discussed with the public, listened their aspirations. I think that it's a part of the governance which is important [...] However, I hope that very soon we will have a government, [...] for an international organization such as UNESCO we wait with great impatience that there is a Prime Minister, that a government be formed so that we can begin to realize the operational plan of all strategies of recovery and reconstruction of the country. It is obviously that more the steps takes time, more we run the risk of causing discouragement at the level of the International community [...] there is concern, there are people who are discouraged, and they say, what's happening ? It is not possible it is necessary that the political authorities focus on the best interests of the country, of the population... but I have the hope that very soon the crisis will be solved..."
