Rosny Desroches, Executive Director of the Civil Society Initiative (ISC) is satisfied with the ratification to the Lower House, of the Prime Minister-designate, the Dr. Garry Conille. He attributes this result, to the combined efforts of the Head of State who was able to establish a climate of dialogue, to the compromise "that have been found" and to the skills and personality of Dr. Conille.

"...I think that all of the Haitian people is satisfied and relieved, because this ratification should have been held for a long time, the country has waited a lot to engage in the path of the formation of a new government. I think that the dialogue that the President of the Republic has had with the various parliamentary groups, and certainly the compromises that have been found, the listens that he had of the complaints of each other, all this has produced results. So, we have already taken a first step with the ratification of the Lower House and we hope the same thing in the Senate of the Republic [...]

...is a good sign, it's a sign that the personality of Dr. Garry Conille, is well accepted by all the sensibilities that are present to the Lower House and I think that it is of good omen for the launch of the programme of the Government [...] I think he has the skills and interpersonal skills required, moreover, he is someone who does not have the big head, who is willing to listen to everyone.

I think that if the different sectors of the society and if the Parliament provides its support, we can have a government action more or less successful...
