Following the disappearance of Mr. Choiseul Henriquez, Minister of Culture and Communication, Friday, November 11 at the Ottawa Civic Hospital (Canada), the Government will have to find a replacement for this Ministry, which was temporarily headed by the Prime Minister, Dr. Garry Conille, as explained by Lucien Jura, the spokesman of the Presidency.

"...Now we'll see what measures to adopt to the extent that the Prime Minister Garry Conille was already provisionally to this function [...] and we will have to designate someone else.

Above all, it is necessary to think to the funeral of Mr. Henriquez, who should take place in Canada, according to my latest information, to the extent where his family is located there [...] we are currently working on the issue [to know whether the Government will be represented]. What was more or less addressed yesterday, is the opportunity to sing the funeral in Port-au-Prince while waiting to plan everything. This morning [Monday] we will have a meeting on this issue where we will decide of the provisions to be adopted as part of his funeral [...]

It will be necessary to think about replacing him, but you know, it's a story that has just fallen, that saddens everyone, but unfortunately, Mr. Henriquez is gone. The Prime Minister played the role of acting Minister of Culture, but now, the Government, officials of the Presidency will have [...] to consider another personality competent, credible, honest and also animated, of the willingness to accompany the new new governmental team in the vision of change, as expressed by the President of the Republic [...]"
