Delmas 19, target of an attack

During the night of Tuesday, December 10 to Wednesday, December 11, 2024, the Delmas 19 neighborhood was the target of an attack by individuals who set fire to about ten vehicles parked on Patrice Lumumba and E. Janvier streets. One person was also reported to have been injured by gunfire.

OCNH : Human Rights Prize of France

Tuesday, December 10, 2024, in the presence of Louino Volcy, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of Haiti in France, the Organization of Citizens for a New Haiti (OCNH), represented by its Executive Director, Me Camille Occius, and the Program Manager of the institution, Ms. Angela Marie Liza Joseph, received this December 10, 2024 in Paris the Human Rights Prize of the French Republic in particular for its work in the field of assistance and protection of victims of gender-based violence in Haiti.
