Monthly increase of 4% in inflation

According to data from the Haitian Institute of Statistics and Informatics (IHSI), after 3 months of slowing inflation, the month of November 2024 shows a sudden monthly increase in inflation of +4% and 26.6% on an annual low against +1.4% and 25.3% in October 2024. According to the IHSI, this monthly increase can be attributed to a generalized increase in prices caused by the deterioration of the security climate.
