On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, Presidential Advisor Fritz Alphonse Jean of the Transitional Council, who will take over the Presidency pro Tempore from March 7, 2025 to August 7, 2025, visited the control tower of Toussaint Louverture International Airport.

During this visit, he spoke with several senior officials, including Lieutenant Colonel Laurent Joseph Dumas, Director of the National Office of Civil Aviation (OFNAC), as well as engineer Yves Ducarmel François, Director of the National Airport Authority (AAN),

This visit allowed Advisor Fritz Jean to learn about the main challenges facing the aviation sector, with a view to providing appropriate solutions.

He also took the opportunity to visit the airport police station and the Tourist Police (PoliTOUR) post, where he spoke with officials about issues related to airport security.
