MMSS : 20 new armored vehicles

On Wednesday, February 19, the Department announced that the United States, through the Office of International Narcotics and Law and Enforcement Affairs (INL), had delivered, on February 14, 20 additional armored personnel carriers to the Multinational Mission for Security Support (MMSS), reinforcing the 1,000 members of the mission in Haiti to improve the security of the population of Haiti.

The hearing of Joseph Felix Badio continues before the Court of Appeal, which requires the appearance of several personalities for a confrontation. Among them are the former Director General of the PNH, Leon Charles, the former First Lady, Martine Moïse, the former Prime Minister Claude Joseph, as well as the former Senator Jean Hector Anacacis. Also summoned are Louis Edner Gonzague Day, Jeantel Joseph, Jude Laurent Félix Morgan Désir, Ardouin Zéphirin, Hubert Jeanty, Jacques Sincère, Paul Eddy Amazan, Reynaldo Corvington, Dominick Cauvin, Antonio Chéramy, Renald Luberus, William Moïse, Eddy Jean-Charles, Rony François, Francis Cinéus, Emmanuel Louis, Rony Grégoire, Clifton Hippolyte, Cléantis Louissaint, Sadrac Alphonse and Ernst Germain.

FNE : Review of the outgoing DG

Jean Ronald Joseph, the outgoing Director General of the National Education Fund (FNE), during the installation of his replacement Sterline Civil recalled that 90% of the FNE budget during his 3-year term was allocated in particular to the rehabilitation and construction of school infrastructure (15 schools inaugurated, 18 schools are awaiting inauguration and 19 others are under construction), to the financing of the special program of free education, school canteens, teacher training and the special financial support granted to higher education, in particular through the State University of Haiti (UEH) and the Public Universities in the Regions (UPR).
