The White House announced that President Donald Trump has signed an executive order to identify and cut all federal funding used for illegal immigrants.

According to information from the White House, the order "directs federal agencies to identify all currently funded government programs that provide financial assistance to illegal aliens and to take corrective action."

The White House also specifies that federal funds allocated to states and local governments should not be used to support so-called "sanctuary" policies to aid or facilitate illegal immigration.”

In addition, the order imposes enhanced eligibility screening procedures to prevent benefits from being provided to individuals who are in the United States illegally.
