"It is with humility and enthusiasm that I accepted my appointment as the new Secretary of State within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This is a new challenge that I am called to face today in Haiti.

I will continue to serve the country, but know that I really enjoyed working with you, the great Haitian community of Montreal.

By becoming the new Secretary of State within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Haiti, I am called to assist the Minister Laurent Lamothe and support him in the various decisions that he will have to take in order to revolutionize the image of the Haitian diplomacy and make of it "a proactive diplomacy looking for business opportunities."

I will endeavor to be worthy of expectations of the Haitian people, and I will, as desired by the President of the Republic and the Government, bring my contribution,

to the building of the new Haiti, we all dream.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to leave Montreal today with a positive balance because you have been able to support the initiatives that I had to take throughout my mission at the head of the Consulate.

Thank you to all sectors: socio-professional associations, socio-cultural, regional, community, chambers of commerce, media, organizations and my immediate staff of the consulate."
