The Department of State has launched a new version of the State Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP). Anyone enrolled in STEP before September 2024 must re-enroll to receive STEP messages. If you are in Haiti or planning to travel there, STEP allows us to send security updates and alerts via email to U.S. citizens in Haiti. It also makes it easier to contact them in case of an emergency. We strongly encourage all U.S. citizens or their parents to register (or re-register) at https://step.state.gov
