Inflation : 28.4% year-on-year

The general consumer price index (CPI, base 100 in 2017-2018), which stood at 470.3 in January, reached 478.9 in February 2025, recording a monthly increase of 2% and 28.4% on an annual basis, slightly less than in January 2025, which had a monthly increase of 2.1% and an annual increase of 29.7%.

Customs Denial

The General Administration of Customs (AGD) wishes to inform the general public that it is not organizing any auctions and has not published any list of goods related to this fake auction. The AGD disclaims all responsibility for a false press release claiming it is organizing a vehicle auction on April 5, 2025. Germany : Donation of 1,000 First Aid Kits to the MMSS

Godfrey Otunge, Kenyan Commander of the Multinational Security Support Mission (MMSS), received earlier this week a consignment of 1,000 Individual First Aid Kits (IFAKs) donated by the German government. These kits are designed to improve the medical preparedness, responsiveness, and survival of Mission personnel injured during operations. Mission personnel received extensive training on the use of IFAKs for individual medical care.
