BSAP agents attack a police station

On Sunday, April 20, 2025, in retaliation for the arrest of an agent of the Protected Areas Security Brigade (BSAP) on the orders of an investigating judge, by PoliFRONT agents, several of his colleagues targeted the Ouanaminthe police station. The exchange of fire left one BSAP officer slightly injured.

Alarming conditions in displaced persons camps

The alarming conditions in displaced persons camps, due to the lack of toilets, showers, and clean water, expose families to diseases such as cholera. UN Migration, with the support of UNCERF, is distributing cleaning kits, installing water tanks, rehabilitating sanitation infrastructure, and training site committees in hygiene to quickly restore access to essential services and protect public health.
