Between December 2024 and February 2025, 2,660 people died in Haiti, including 323 women, 19 girls, and 55 boys, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres reported to the Security Council. He noted the inability of the Haitian National Police (PNH) to contain the spread of gangs, raising fears of an "imminent collapse" of the state's presence in the capital, Port-au-Prince.

China criticizes the 10% customs duty imposed on Haiti

Football NOTICE : Safeguarding Training

The Haitian Football Federation (FHF) informs the country's football academies and schools that a safeguarding training session will be organized on April 23 and 24, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., for organizations that have completed the 2024 Club License form, applicable to the 2025 season. This session will be held in person and also via videoconference, to allow as many participants as possible to participate. This initiative is part of the FIFA Guardians program, which aims to ensure a safe, healthy, and inclusive environment for all young people playing football.
