Mission : 400 Kenyans to Return Home

Jack Ombaka, Spokesperson for the Multinational Security Support Mission (MMSS), reports that the first contingent of 400 Kenyan police officers is expected to return to Kenya after a year of deployment, recalling that the police officers deployed to Haiti on June 25, 2024, have signed a one-year contract. Assistance to Deportees

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) provides assistance to vulnerable deported migrants arriving at the border without resources. This assistance includes transportation home, medical care, hot meals, and psychosocial support. These services are made possible thanks to the support of the French Embassy in Haiti, which allows them to recover with dignity.

Vaccination Campaign

Bertrand Sina, the Minister of Public Health, launched Vaccination Week in the Americas in Les Cayes with the support of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Canadian Embassy in Haiti under the theme "It's your decision that makes the difference."
