Malpasse Customs Controlled by Gangs

A group of heavily armed individuals, led by a certain "Benbenn," stormed the Malpasse customs office on the Haitian-Dominican border, according to the General Administration of Customs (AGD). The assailants assaulted customs officers, destroyed official documents, and took several seized trucks, all while Border Police (PoliFRONT) officers watched helplessly. This attack followed the seizure of three trucks transporting goods in violation of a circular from the Ministry of Economy and Finance. Since the May 23 assault, armed individuals have completely controlled the customs facilities, paralyzing a strategic point in the country, the AGD said.

Canada "D-5" : Our Grenadières Gather

The Haitian women's team's training began Monday, May 26, in Canada, in preparation for the double friendly match against the Canadian senior women's national team scheduled for May 31 (first leg) and June 3rd, 2025 (second leg). Members of the Haitian delegation from Europe, North America, and Haiti are currently converging on Winnipeg, the venue for the first match. Training sessions are scheduled from May 27 to 30, in preparation for the match on the 31st. The team will then travel to Montreal on June 1 to prepare for the second match scheduled for June 3rd. Rising Inflation

Delmas City Hall: Work for Displaced Persons

To improve sanitation in Delmas, the City Hall is conducting canal cleaning operations by employing internally displaced persons. Nearly 2,500 meters of canals will be cleaned and more than 5,000 cubic meters of waste will be removed.
