Football : International Friendly Tournament in Guadeloupe

The Haitian Football Federation (FHF) announces the establishment of a group of young U-16 players to participate in an international friendly tournament in Guadeloupe, scheduled for May 28-31, 2025. It will include players recently identified during the latest observation sessions organized by the FHF, as well as eligible players from the U-17 squad that qualified for the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025. Cervical Cancer Screening

Under the High Patronage of the Ministry of Public Health and Population and the Ministry for the Status of Women, the DSO is organizing cervical cancer screening days on the occasion of the International Day of Action for Women's Health from this Thursday, May 29th to 31st, at the following institutions:

Reinforcement of the PNH

Saint-Marc City Police, under the supervision of the Departmental Police Directorate of Artibonite, has increased its presence in the commune to facilitate the movement of people and vehicles on public roads. Every day, police officers in the city of Saint-Marc set up fixed points and conduct routine checks to verify the entry and exit of vehicles, particularly cars and motorcycles.

Continued support and strengthening of the Haitian National Police (PNH) : 30 investigators (including 21 women), from five departments (Grand Sud & Ouest), were trained in sexual violence investigation and victim reception techniques from May 19 to 21 in Les Cayes. DR : 143,251 people expelled

"From January 2025 to date, we have expelled 143,251 people in an irregular migration situation to 12 countries on four continents, the vast majority of whom are of Haitian origin. In addition, there were 58,641 voluntary returns of Haitian citizens. In total, during this period, 201,000 foreigners left the country, in accordance with Law 285-04," reported the General Directorate of Migration (DGM).

Playoffs : Tempête FC and Baltimore SC excluded from the competition

On May 28, 2025, Juventus FC des Cayes won the match against Don Bosco [2-0], thus securing first place in Group II of the 2025 Championnat National Spécial playoffs. Philippo Ronaldo scored the first goal in the 28th minute, followed by Jachaziel Séraphin in the 60th minute. This victory qualified the Cayens for the grand final.

They will face AS Capoise, who won the other group by beating FICA [3-1] on penalties after a 0-0 draw at the end of regulation time.
