"Vivy Mitchel" Attacked

On Thursday, May 29, 2025, bandits from the "Kraze Baryè" gang attacked the "Vivy Mitchel" neighborhood in the commune of Pétion-ville. The attackers were repelled by police and vigilante groups. This attack followed recent police operations in Pernier, in the gang's territory. Before retreating, the bandits had time to set fire to several houses, including that of former presidential spokesperson Lucien Jura.

Jean Denis Commune Stormed

On Wednesday around 5:00 a.m., an armed attack attributed to Savien's "Gran Grif" gang left at least seven dead in Jean Denis, a commune in Petite-Rivière de l'Artibonite, the headquarters of the Revolutionary Coalition to Save the Artibonite, an armed self-defense group and symbol of anti-gang resistance. At least a dozen houses were reported burned. André Saint-Louis, a close collaborator of the coalition leaders, a revolutionary to save the Artibonite, reports that all coalition members are well and that the town has not fallen under the control of criminals.

Me Merlan Belabre, suspended for 3 years without pay

Digicel : Launch of the 9th edition of the "Konbit Pou Chanjman" competition
