ONI announces 4 CIN Production Centers

Reynold Guerrier, Director General of the National Identification Office (ONI), announced that for the rapid production of the National Identity Card (CIN), currently produced only in Port-au-Prince, the ONI will soon open four card printing centers (Cap-Haitien, Saint-Marc, Les Cayes, and New York). USA : A Restrictive Bill for the State Department

A group of U.S. Senators, led by Rick Scott (R) and supported by elected officials from different parties, introduced the Haiti Criminal Collusion Transparency Act. This bill aims to require the State Department to document links between gangs, political elites, and economic actors in Haiti. The goal is to impose targeted sanctions to combat the instability that has led to the exodus of more than a million Haitians, according to the senators.
