New attack in Petite-Rivière de l'Artibonite
On Saturday, June 21, 2025, heavily armed men from the "Gran Grif" gang attacked Petite-Rivière de l'Artibonite, spreading terror among the population. The attack left at least two dead and several injured, most of whom were small commercannts on their way to the local market. In addition, several people, including students, were reportedly kidnapped.

Pierre Antoine Borgat executed
On June 19, 2025, Pierre Antoine Borgat, former President of the Les Cayes Chamber of Commerce and member of the Port-au-Prince Bar, was shot several times in his office in Guilite Village. The killers fled on a motorcycle after executing him.
